The hosting of the third leg of the Philippine Vintage Racing series was
completed last 27 April 1997 at the Subic International Raceway in Subic
Bay Freeport, Zambales, Philippines.
There were a total of nine vintage sports cars and production touring cars
which participated in the 8 lap event. The following cars and their
drivers won their respective classes:
Class B - Shelby GT 350 Lito Ignacio
Class D - MGB Ricky Caguiat
Class F - '56 VW Beetle 1200 Marc Ablaza
Modified - '69 Ford Escort Mexico Ricky Floirendo
The other finishers were:
Shelby GT350 Serge Naguiat
Mustang 309 Vic Yenko
Triumph TR4 Andy Sta. Maria
Datsun 240Z Joey Almeda
MGA Monchito Hermoso
The next race will be held on the 25 May 1997 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
