This upcoming weekend marks the 12th Annual Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival at
Road America for VSCDA.
The Team Thicko Sprites of Bill Thompson(fearless leader, "hottest" runner),
Gary Speckman(always trying) and Jim Donato(Mr. America..red, white and
blue) will be competing as usual.
In addition to awesome on-track racing, there is a "Street Race Tour" of the
original Elkhart Lake course, on public roads.
Throw in track touring during the noon hours of Saturday and Sunday, and you
have the makins' for a great weekend.
The Wisconsin Chapter of the Austin Healey Club of America also holds its
annual "Chili Blast-Off" at the corner 5 viewing area. We invite other
Healey Club members to join us there, right after the touring session, on
Sunday, Sept. 22, 1996.
The Team Thicko pits are also, as always, open to the public(no secrets
here)so please stop by, introduce yourself and enjoy Wisconsin in the Fall.
