Steamboat '96

It looks like I'll be fortunate enought to participate in the Steamboat race
this year.  As I've never been there before, is there anyone out there who
can provide any advice on:
a)  track tips??
b)  good restaurants??
c)  who/what to avoid????
d)  definite must-do's in SB??
