For Sale: 1971 Lola T-250 Chassis #1, as hand-built by John Barnard (now
chief designer for Ferrari F-1) while he was a young engineer for Lola. This
car became the prototype for a whole series of formula cars for Lola. Was
the London Racing Car Show car for Lola in 1970 and was the factory team car
in european series before being sold to Carl Haas Imports for U.S.
competition in 1973. Raced competitively by Haas, then sold to private team
and later driven to SCCA championship in 1978 before retirement. Re-aquired
by JERT Racing, St. Joseph MI and just finished ground-up restored to
original condition. Has yet to be raced after restoration. Beautiful
example of this lost breed and truly historic vehicle. Also, fast ride!
Will be ready to race this season. E-mail for more info and pictures.
