Thanks to all of you for answers and inputs-
Heres what I've deduced so far: The 1/73 issue of Road & Track is a
test
of a Hybrid (2500M), based on the text of the article. Now comparing
that to the 8/77 R&T test of a 2500M, it shows the Hybrid as weighing
125lbs
less and closer to a 50/50 balance. The acceleration figures I'm a
little
skeptical of as they used differant RPM shift points. However the 14"
tires of the later car would prove quicker.
Anyway i'm lookin for a runnin' one if someone knows (not urgent, the
Tuscan will hold me over) :)
Also, sadly I'm well aquainted with SCCA's rules for those of you that
don't know me. Too much fun and speed netted me a 2nd at the SCCA Solo2
Nationals in 98' and moved all the V6 TVRs to A-stock from C-stock. (I'm
currently trying to get down to B-stock as my 3000s will never catch a
well driven Honda S2000 or Boxter or MR2 Turbo or 968 Porsche.) (Do you
see the pattern?)
Happy Christmas, Merry New Year, Hava Hannuka, and all that joyful
stuff!
