Chris, rebuilding your original bonnet frame is probably the way to go. That
way you can match it to your car. I've talked to a couple of folks that have
said that the after market bonnet frames they bought were not the same as the
originals. As such, they were difficult to fit and required fabricating
anyway. Tack some bracing to the bonnet frame to hold it in its proper shape
before cuting it out of the fiberglass. Especially if the bonded in tubes are
rusted through....read "gone". You also may want to do as much measuring as
you can with the frame still in the bonnet. Best of luck.
