TVR: bonnet spherical rod ends

Dear All,
    I have specced what seem to be the right spherical rod end or
    "rose joint" to use in the Vixen type bonnet hinging mechanism.

    National Rod End p/n RM7T which is supplied by BRT Bearings in
    the UK as their p/n RC07. The rubber boot for this is number 8.

    Prices: 33.86+VAT
            13.00+VAT

    can anyone supply dimension for the bits of "U" channel to use in
    conjunction with above? The seem to need to be 2 foot apart at
centres.
