i have seen a couple of gaskets recently where one was cork about 1/16" th=
ick the other being not much more than writing paper.i dont recall if it wa=
s my pan gasket.maybe thats the difference in these parts.

sometimes need "fettling" to fit properly. I see this all the time with th=

ce available - just available. I chose "available" so I could drive the car=
. The cheaper gasket ate 2 hours of my labor to fit. The stud holes were of=

rect diameter.
That said, if you're like me, you buy the cheap one AND the expensive one a=
nd one winds up either as a spare or in the bin...

Without disparaging Moss, I note their 692-000 Payen gasket is $26.99=C2=A0=
while their stock gasket (695-000) is just $4.99. Is the Payen gasket TR3th=
at much better?? Worth the $$ difference?
