Hi,
=20
I=E2=80=99m having great difficulty getting either of the drain taps in the T=
R2 to stop leaking. I=E2=80=99ve tried various used taps from my 45+ year =E2=
=80=9Ccollection=E2=80=9D without any success. The taps leak mostly out the=
drain hole but some also where screwed into the block/rad.
=20
I recently ordered a pair of new replacements from Rimmer with high hopes bu=
t after install, both leak from the side opposite the lever =E2=80=93 see pi=
c. This is with antifreeze in, rad cap off and no pressurization. I=E2=80=99=
ve asked Rimmer for comment, but they are closed until Tuesday (bank holiday=
 Monday).

The pic is shows the engine install with the spring portion =E2=80=9Cup=E2=80=

Has anyone had success with current offerings from the various vendors? I s=
ee Moss also offers them =E2=80=93 others? TRF doesn=E2=80=99t currently ha=
ve them.
=20
I=E2=80=99m about to give up and try the Don Elliot solution sealing the tap=
s where they thread into the block/rad.
=20
Appreciate any suggestions.
=20
Stay well and cheers,
