A few hundred miles (but about 2 years ago, so it's out of warranty) I had
my TR6 speedo refurbished by Nisonger. It was working fine until I tried
resetting the trip odometer after filling the tank with gas.

After getting the gas and getting on the highway, I noticed that I had not
reset the trip odometer. Having reset it in the past while moving without
incident, I proceeded to reset it. This time, however, I managed to move
the tenths, individual miles, and tens place digits to move. However, when
it got to the hundreds digit, the trip odometer and it's adjustment
knob/cable jammed. When I stopped the car, I tried again, but no luck. The
regular odometer seems to be working ok so far, and I haven't driven far
enough to get the hundreds digit to reset itself after driving a hundred
miles since trying to reset.

So the question of the day is: Is there anything I can do to unjam the trip
odometer without major surgery??

(Dr. Tony Rhodes, I hope you're reading this. I skimmed your article about
repairing speedos, but I didn't notice anything that addressed this
specifically - particularly without major surgery.)

As always, any advice will be appreciated.
