I have never worked on a 4-speed wedge but I hear the transmissions share =
a number of components with the Spitfire.=C2=A0 But that doesn't mean the s=
peedometer connection is the same.=C2=A0 If it is then perhaps you saw a 4-=
speed car.=20

The 5-speed transmission will definitely not support the angle drive.=20

I recall going=C2=A0to a junkyard=C2=A0and pulling=C2=A0a speedo angle driv=
e off of a TR7. The angle drive was in the=C2=A0engine bay. The Stag uses a=
similar angle drive but is at the gearbox end and is part no.120694. When =
I do a search on this part no., it does not cross reference to a TR7.Was I =
smoking something at the time or if the TR7 has a speedo angle drive in the=
engine bay, what is the part no?
My speedo=C2=A0is way off on my Stag and I'm wondering=C2=A0if the speed=C2=
=A0angle drive has a different ratio that that used on a Stag. The Stag's o=
ne cross references to a TR4 and TR6.
