I've used both , never had an issue with either material. I do put a very
light smear of sealer on them.

Since these gaskets have to make a seal, I have always preferred the copper
ones. I know some people use sealer with the steel ones, but I have no
experience with them.

Just received my 87mm pistons and liners from TRF, the package included
steel figure eight gaskets, my gasket kit from TRF included copper ones. Is
there any consensus as to which is preferred?
