On a TR6, the stud is on the passenger seat. (presumably the same on a TR4?)=

Seat upholstery covers the hole for the stud. I remember the first time I fo=
und one, the stud was actually covered by a previous owners reupholstery job=
 - the stud was still there UNDER the upholstery.
