Keith,
=20
I also have a TR4A with HS6s. An issue I have regularly, but only when =
I store it for a couple weeks or more in warm to hot temps, is that some =
kind of blockage gets created in the jets. It causes similar symptoms =
as yours, but maybe not as pronounced. It will normally idle OK, but =
has no power when I try to drive it. =20
=20
What I've learned to do is pull the carb's top covers (bell shaped =
housing) and piston/needle assembly out and then spray some carb =
cleaner, WD40, or any kind of thin HC based spray into the top of the =
jet using one of the "straws" attached to the can. Doesn't seem to be =
sensitive to how much. This immediately fixes it and I've gotten to =
where I can do it in less than 10 minutes. =20
=20
Sorry, I'm on the digest so this may be a bit behind. Hopefully the =
problem is already solved.
