I agree with others on the pros and cons of crimping vs. soldering. The bot=
tom line for me is if either is done right, they will be fine. I used to us=
e a basic crimping tool and had to throw away have my lugs. I decided to pu=
rchase a high quality tool and have had great crimps since. Here's the one =
I bought on Amazon. It comes with multiple jaws to work on many different l=
ug types. I'm sure there are other brands that work just as well and probab=
ly others that work better. But I found this was money well spent.

Hey all ~

Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and were able to
spend some quality time with loved ones....

I've got a new wire harness for my TR3 in hand and was
wondering your thoughts for those wires not using bullet
connectors, (I'll likely use the bullet crimping tool from
British Wire for that). So, for wires requiring spades, rings,
etc. do you suggest soldering these terminals or is crimping
a better choice? If crimping, what tool have others found to
be reliable?
