I felt well enough today (though I'm paying dearly now) to crawl under the =
TR 6 and tinkerwith the slave cylinder,,again. =C2=A0At this point I don't =
know whether to shoot the car, or myself!!You've seen me here whining befor=
e, right? =C2=A0Well, here I go again. =C2=A0I'm sorry. =C2=A0Tried to get =
the car=C2=A0in gear yet again and again and again! =C2=A0To no avail. =C2=
=A0The bear facts are I bled, re-bled I don't knowhow many times today. =C2=
=A0Pumped the clutch with anywhere from good pressure/resistance to no resi=
stance.Looked in the resivoir numerous times, filled the resivoir several t=
imes,,,,,,pumped the lever that the slave activatesMANY times and did see a=
ir bubbles and then did not see air bubbles and even thought I had defeated=
the beast,,,but didn't. =C2=A0In my final try of course started the car in =
neutral and tried to put the car in gear.Nothing doing!! Every gear, the sa=
me thing. =C2=A0I might as well have been pushing the shifter in hardenedco=
ncrete. Bright idea!! =C2=A0Just for fun put it in gear BEFORE you start it=
. =C2=A0Very funny!!! =C2=A0In gear, well, I didn't want to drive it off th=
e jack and jack stands. =C2=A0This is where I gave up. =C2=A0From 2 PM to 6=
:30 with a glimmer of hope. =C2=A0No hope.It wouldn't he such a big deal if=
we were rolling in money. =C2=A0We have been there before and I have throw=
na ton of money at this car,,,,,,just to make it do the right things mechan=

to remove the oil filter to access thenut to bleed it. =C2=A0I have a "spi=
n on" adapter installed and to get any access to either top or bottom nut, =
the filter has to come off.Is it possible I have the darned thing backwards=
? =C2=A0I don't see how that could be because the rod and lever match up pe=
rfectlybut I've done sillier things. =C2=A0I know this is long, but I've GO=
T to get this car on the road. =C2=A0Maybe I mentioned it in another postbu=
t our '98 Maxima suffered a fender bender,,,,,,,on 2/20. =C2=A0We've been i=
n a rental car ever since. State Farm sent me to Hertzand the Maxima is at =
a national chain called Gerber. =C2=A0I didn't know what to do and was rely=
ing on them to get the job done.Gerber declared it a total because it would=
cost way more to repair than it was worth. =C2=A0The problem is - that is =
our only working carand in the last six weeks or so I have taken my oldest =
son to the emergency room something like 7 times. =C2=A0He has asthma=C2=A0=
for one thing and three disc's bulging which give him horrible head aches t=
o the point of causing him to vomit because ofthe pain. =C2=A0He also has N=
O cartilage in his left knee. =C2=A0My wife is way ahead of him and has gon=
e through this for 30 years. The last 16years on total disability. =C2=A0He=
r head hurts so bad her only respite is unconsciousness and except for appo=
intments with the psychiatrist,her pain doctor of 20 years and her G.P. she=
is in bed. =C2=A0So the TR is our last resort. Yes it is difficult for her=
to get in and out ofbut that is the only thing we have. =C2=A0And that's o=
nly about half the story. =C2=A0AGAIN,I apologize for the length of this po=
