< Trying to get my OD to stop dripping from the large brass drain plug.

Hylomar is a good suggestion, but on threaded plugs I use Permatex 2B, non-=
hardening.  Put a little bead around the base of the plug and screw it in -=
 no leaks.  I have used it on drain plugs, O-rings, etc. Of course this ass=
umes there is no real severe distortion or other problem.
