Thanks for everyone's comments on my TR6 Colors!
=20
Per Jeff Scarborough=2C my little TR6 color presentation does probably sho=
w some of the limitations of photography as regards my own car=2C the Java =
Green one and no doubt as regards a few of the other photos. But rather th=
an photographs lying about the color=2C I think they just relay how the col=
or really did look with the lighting brightness=2Cangle and reflections pre=
sent at the time. I guess I took the easy way out in using a stock photo of=
my own Java green car (original paint=2C original owner) caught in the lig=
ht(shade?) in which I usually view it=2C when=2C for comparison purposes=2C=
I probably should have taken a photo catching the car in direct sunlight=
=2C shot from the other side of the street.=20
=20
Then as Joe Curry said=2C seeing color swatches in files transmitted over t=
he internet will vary from computer to computer=2C so you may not all see t=
he same colors as I wanted you to see.=20
=20
But hopefully you'll see that Magenta is that bright purple=2C Java is that=
bright green=2C and that Jasmine was a very pale yellow. And that the colo=
r Topaz was available on the last cars only. And that Mallard is the dark b=
lue that looks green=2C etc. etc..
=20
Anyway=2C I made this little presentation just for myself about 3 months ag=
o. I'd for a long time wanted to put "faces" to (the color) names and so I =
could see roughly how all the colors compared with one another. I think it=
is a lot better to see different colored TR6 cars all parked at the same a=
ngle rather (a little like going to a car show) than look at 25 paint recta=
ngles and try to imagine what cars in each of those colors might look and c=
ompare. It makes me smile looking at all the pretty TR6s and reading the i=
nteresting color names.=20
=20
I just thought I'd share it.
