Randall-
Thanks for the info.=C2=A0 This car is a mish-mash.=C2=A0 The dash has the =
hole you mention next to where the OD switch would go.=C2=A0=C2=A0 However,=
 this car came with a couple of different dash's (the one I put in had the =
OD switch hole...welded shut) and=C2=A0several instrument panels.=C2=A0 The=
 one I refinished seems like it=C2=A0would be for the rheostat switch.=C2=
=A0 The heater does have a fan but I'm=C2=A0not sure I have the right one a=
nd I don't have a knob for=C2=A0it.
Ugh!=C2=A0 I hate basket projects!!!=C2=A0 :-)

The heater fan gets a rheostat, mounted to the left of the steering wheel (=
next to where the OD switch would be if it had OD).=C2=A0 There is a photo =
in the workshop manual, in the section on installing the heater.=C2=A0There=
 appears to have been no single change point for the dash light rheostat.=
=C2=A0 Piggott says it was on "some" cars after TS43000, but not standard u=
ntil TS60000.=C2=A0One way to tell is to look at the center hole just below=
 the pair of indicator lights=C2=A0in the instrument panel.=C2=A0 If it is =
the right size for the wiper switch, then the wiper switch goes there and t=
he panel switch goes at the top center.=C2=A0If that hole is larger than th=
e wiper switch, then the panel rheostat goes there and the wiper switch goe=
s at the top.=C2=A0-- Randall =C2=A0
