Factory used a normal lightweight general purpose grease lightly smeared
with a finger on the block face, both sides of the gasket and the underside
of the head.

Ok, this is probably a dumb question, but better safe than sorry.  Do you
use any gasket sealant when installing a new copper head gasket on a TR4
motor?
