My book says 22-24 ft lb, which seems about right (tho I never bother using a torque wrench). More important, IMO, is to use new lock washers and check the nuts for tightness occasionally. On my TR3A, I also found that it helped to use a heavy flat washer on the front & rear stud (the ones without the cast iron bridge pieces). -- Randall |
