What!!! Do you imply that those oh so cool wheel spinners will not fit
my TR3's wire wheels like they say they do?
To make things easier to find:
1. I currently have a TR3 horn/turn signal assembly of ebay that will
sell about 3PM (pacific) today.
2. Next week I intend to put up A late TR3A steering assembly left over
from a conversion to rack & pinion steering.
Less than 20K miles ago everything was rebuilt. All new greasable tire
rod ends, Roadster Factory rebuilt steering box with new worm gear and
peg. New silent block assemblies. I did not replace the idler lever
assembly because what was there appeared to be in better condition than
new aftermarket replacement. It is the split steering column type.
3. Also next week I will be going through my boxes of spare TR parts and
getting rid of things I don't ever expect to use and overly redundant
spare parts. I will see if there is any interested in a restored like
new TR3 ash tray that I've had for 25 years and never installed.
ebay ID = dormobile60
I'm trying to fit comfortably in my new garage and have empty space.
Empty space, what a concept!!
So horded TR3 and Series Land Rover spares will be gone through and only
very hard to find NLA genuine parts that I might use will be kept. And
my Aladdin kerosene lamp collection is getting thinned by at least a
dozen lamps.
