I have been with SBC(Southwestern Bell Corp now AT&T) for my email for
years, by way of a chain of acquisitions. No problems and I have managed to
keep the same email address for the past 15 years. I have other accounts as
well, but no AOL, and simply forward them all to my '.flash.net'(now owned
by AT&T) account for one-stop reading.

Actually, didn't SBC (Southern Bell - the child) buy ATT (the parent) and
then rename itself ATT (the new ATT - don't know how to explain the new
relationship - adoptive child?) But your assessment is 100% correct.

No this is not SBC any more. This is AT&T. They bought SBC and Yahoo several
years ago, and the quality of the whole thing has gone to pot.
