Go Figure. MY 3B will roar to life with a quick punch as well if I have
been running her daily and it's not below freezing where just a little
choke
may be required. Stock starter, points ignition, mechanical fuel pump
with all the original stuff. OK, if it has been sitting for a month or
so a
squirt of starting fluid may be required just cause I am too lazy to use
the
AC fuel pump priming lever.

I agree. My 2 will roar to life after less than 1/2 revolution from the
stock starter. That's using the same points, condenser, rotor and wires for
the last two years. I want to know how a modern "mod" will improve on my
reliability.
