You are correct.  The over sized hole is to allow the lever to move enough =
to engage the fast idle cam before moving the jet.  The first 1/4 inch or s=
o of the choke knob only jacks the idle without adding anything to the mixt=
ure and this is how it is accomplished on the H6's.

I've been going through carbs tr-3 su (UNBELIEVABLY DIRTY) and find that th=
e hole in the jet lever where it connects to the jet lever link has a very =
large hole.  It makes the fit very sloppy but it appears to me to be made t=
hat way.  Am I right? lol  The holes don't seem to be worn overlarge but I =
want to be sure.  If the fit is supposed to be tighter I want to be sure an=
d replace appropriately.
