Wayne: I live in Jamestown, CA and have been buying parts from you
since you were located in San Jose. I have a 1957 TR3 that I
purchased back in 1997. I love the car, but i'm so busy with other
things in my life that I rarely use it and enjoy it, therefore I
would like to sell it.

It's in good running condition with an odometer reading of 27,865
which I assume is over 100,000. Although it doesn't seem like it has
that many miles on it. The engine runs great, but has never been
rebuilt. I personally have replaced the following: -master
cylinders for brakes and clutch
                      -muffler
                      -radiator without the crank hole
-water pump, fan belt, hoses, thermostat
                      -fuel pump
                      -wiring harness
                      -all shocks
-installed an electric fan for better cooling
                      -rebuild distributor
                      -air filters
                      -voltage regulator
                      -rebuilt carburetors
                      -misc. gaskets, grommets, cables

I am the third owner. The car doesn't have a tonneau cover, but has
new side curtains and an older top. Before I bought it the starter
was replaced and the front end bushings, bearings, and brakes were
completely re-furbished. The car has chrome wire wheels and Michelin
tires with 90% of the wear left.

My research on the internet (NADA and Hemmings Motor News) tells me
that the average mid price range for a TR3 in good condition is
around $15,000 to $16,000. Can you shed any light of the possible
worth of this car, and do you know anyone who might be looking for a
TR3 in good condition?
