Seems like there has been a lot of TR3 crank pulley failures this past year.
Coincidence, or did we find the threshold for metal fatigue in British
steel?

Most likely, IMO, it will be OK for a few weeks.  But I would plan on
replacing both the pulley half (assuming that is where the piece is gone)
and the belt before spring.  It won't be too long before another chunk
breaks off.
