I was wondering the same thing about the 7 psi versus 13 psi radiator
caps for a TR6. The 7 psi appears (Moss catalog) to be for early cars
up to 71 and the 13 psi for later cars but I've always run the 13 psi
on my 71 TR6 and now I don't remember why...probably a result of
advice from the list.
Any ideas on what changed, why the difference might be in running
temps or other considerations?
Thanks
