>From a vibration resonance point of view, the worst place to mount a fuel
pump is on a piece of sheet metal. My Facet is mounted on the frame just
behind the left rear wheel well via some rubber washers to dampen the higher
frequencies. As Randall reported, I can hear the pump when I turn the key (a
reassuring sound); once the engine fires up, the pump is inaudible.
