The last I heard was GM agreed to let Spyker, a manufacturer of high-end
sporty cars in Holland, buy SAAB in what seems a rather convoluted deal. It
shall be interesting to see what happens because Spyker, in its six years of
existence, has not turned a profit.

Did SAAB escape the ax, then? I thought the end had been announced, after
the Swedes declined to buy it back.
