Qwest was previously called U.S. West.  They changed their name because
people kept referring to them as "U.S. Worst".

I recall a Dilbert where he had to explain to the Boss that their
programmers needed to be 'Unix' not 'Eunuchs'.  Boss responded by cancelling
the message he had left for the corporate nurse.
