Right. The problem is that dwell is given as an angle, not as a percent.
Without knowing how many cylinders, the meter has no way to know what
constitutes a full circle.

Perhaps, but 60 seems to be the spec for all Lucas 25D4 dizzys, including
those fitted to MGBs and Minis.
