Not exactly, Dave, I know for sure that some BMW convertibles and the PT
Cruiser convertible lowers the window when a door is opened or closed.

Roll the window up and then close the door.  That is the normal mode of
operation.  Only Porsche would make a top where the window needs to be lowered
before opening the door.
