[TR] Spring eye bushings

Hi everybody,
Just doing a rear shock replacement on my '71 GT6 with rotoflex rear  
suspension and noticed the spring eye bushings are pretty well shot  
too. Can these be replaced without going through the spring  
compression by "special tool" (i.e. big bar)?
