At an airport run, I easily got the TR4 ("hood erected") to 100 MPH, then
feathered to respect the redline. When I removed the top, I ran out of
acceleration space at 95 MPH. 4500 on the rev counter, 95 on the speedo, 95 on
the radar gun, repeated several times.
This is a stock early TR4 without overdrive.
