More like Lucas wiring on a British car, maybe <G>
All I can say is that the one I had seemed to work fine, and lasted the life
of the car (which is more than you can say for most A/C systems made in the
70s). The evaporator in the dash would literally get cold enough to freeze
ice (which it would then spit in your face when it defrosted) !
