Thanks to Randall and Dave for their answers on the window regulator answers.
I guess I wasnt clear why I was asking about the dry lube.
What I want to avoid is grease getting liquid and dripping down the bottom of
the door and getting on the inside panel. My regulators and the slides were
covered in a very hardened grease that was just about everywhere. Even on the
bottom of the door. It was real dirty etc from 40 years of collecting dust,
dirt etc.
I planned on using a high temp grease in the regulator gear but was looking
for something a bit "cleaner" for the slides.
So I will follow Randall's suggestion and use the dry lube for the slides and
both Dave and Randall's suggestion for the regulator gear and use some
lithium grease for the regulator gear.
Thanks,
Bob
