Bob,
There are 2 differenet Western European character set encodings- Windows and
ISO. Whicheverone you are using, try the other. I believe that this choice
is independent from the plaintext vs. HTML choice. Unless you did a
copy/paste on the web site link and it was in some other encoding, I doubt
that that is the problem, but it wouldn't hurt to delete it and retype it -
making sure you delete the formating along with the characters.
