The only way to tell if it is placebo or not is to have someone else change
your oil (or not) and see if you can tell if it really was done.
Tell you what, for $15 I'll maybe change your oil and you can listen and
judge if the oil was really changed or if I just went to the pub with the money.
It's for science.
