Just being certain Frank, are you telling us U are unbalanced?

Subject: [TR] TR3 axle U-bolts
As I look for new U bolts for the car, I noticed that the old U bolts are
uneven. That is, one side is longer than the other. there had to be a reason
why.
But for now my only question is:
short side to the front or back of the car?
Still disassembled so cant tell a lot from looking at this point.
