Griot's Garage does an excellent job of marketing... beautiful catalogues
and nice products... I personally like their car care stuff. BUT as for
tools... there are ALL private labeled by major suppliers and available
elsewhere for a much less.
Even the hand tools are other makers - for example private label Mayhew
chisels are $40 at Griot's and $25 on the web. A few years ago I purchase
the exact same new Porter-Cable unit on eBay for $92 including shipping - no
problems. Visit http://www.properautocare.com
Richard stands behind his products, but there's no discount. The garage will
look good - all the tools the same color and branding - but at a premium
price. As for supplies, since he doesn't really make them, as long as you
know the manufacturer or specs, you should be able to obtain supplies
elsewhere.
