Agree. I used a pair of plastic 'orange' sticks, one inserted above and
one below the shaft. They are tapered and as they are forced in
opposite directions apply a lot of even pressure to the switch. I don't
recall if I used my heat gun but I would certainly try that (or a hair
dryer... an item I have no need of) before applying a propane torch. I
may have even used a bit of PB Blaster. Did get it off w/o breaking but
not w/o a fight.
