Yes, I'd bring that to their attention in a non threatening way. They can't
be aware of every exception to a 30 year emission law.

This addresses the visual only portion tied to the safety inspection,used by
some counties. Other counties use tail pipe measurements or on 96 and newer,
OBD2 status checks.
