Actually, Lift-the-Dot fasteners are the kind usually found all around the
tonneau cover and hoodstick cover, a spring-loaded "hole" that fits over a
small post. Tenax fasteners, usually found across the front edge of the top
corresponding to the pegs atop the windscreen frame, have that little
spring-loaded "hat" that you lift (maybe they should be called Lift-the-Hat?).
