I would take issue with that statement. That IMHO is a misconception that
needs to be challenged. The Club Nationals do have Car Shows; Participants
Choice and Concours Judging but they also have many driving events that are
really the Focus. The majority of cars are not overly prepared. I would not
call
Lou's car that even though it is very nice. It also is very driven. Not
blowing my own horn but my most treasured National Award is the two
consecutive
Carolina's Cups Beverly and I won @ VTR Nationals. That award is for
overall participation and placement in all the events. TRF SP has a car show
too.
Before anyone makes a judgment on Club Nationals they need to attend one.
