My Spitfire has been "up on blocks" (showing my southern heritage)
for a month or so with the rear end pulled apart. The steel brake
lines are looking quite rusted so I'm considering replacing them with
the set from Spitbits. Never done that before. Anyone got any
advice? Experience with those lines? Yeah or nay?

Jim,
I don't know anything about Spitbitz parts. My experience with replacement
brake lines has not been good though. The last two cars I have restored, I had
the brake lines cleaned, pickled, and nickle plated-need to take care to mask
all threads though.
