Barry,

The silicone dot 5.0 is purple and silicone dot 5.1 is clear (or light amber if 
my memory is working).  Anyway there was a color difference.  This may be the 
reason.  I do not know what the difference is between the two.  They did mix ok 
when I added dot 5.1 to the dot 5.0.  I now only use dot 5.0 purple in the 
triumph.
