Lee, I use Omaha steak Styrofoam boxes, surrounding the transmission entirely from damage, wrap shrink wrap around the whole thing, then tape it with clear packing tape, then send it UPS. They have a 150 weight maximum and will accept it for shipment no problem. Make sure you wrap it well though.
