BlankList,

The ARP 206-4205 GT6/TR6 kit (which is the only kit I could find for the TR6)
I got says the limit for the head width plus the gasket is 3.45 inches total.
Has anyone used this kit for more total width? My head plus a stock gasket is
a total of 3.49 inches. Why would that be a problem given that the ARP head
studs are actually 1/8 inch longer than the stock ones I'm taking out plus
they have more threads? And if I want to decrease the compression ratio to
run a supercharger can I use a thicker copper gasket with those ARP studs?
Anyone know why ARP puts that limit on the total thickness given that almost
every TR6 head ever made plus the gasket will be more than 3.45 inches?
Anyone used a thicker copper gasket successfully or unsuccessfully with ARP
head studs?

Thanks
Bud Rolofson
