About a year ago I received one of these phish letters asking me to
update my ebay account. I answered it and logged into the offical
looking Ebay letter. It asked for my Ebay name and Ebay password which I
gave. Then it asked me to update my paypal account asking me for my
credit card # and paypal password. I didn't think that was a good idea
so I didn't provide that information. However several days later I began
receiving emails from Ebay sellers saying that I won bids for crap I
never bid on. About ten in all. It's a good thing that I didn't provide
my credit card info. I stil can't get into my Ebay account and I still
get those letters.
